Today is Jack's 6 week birthday! He is absolutely wonderful.
We went to the doctor on Wednesday and had a great visit. The office is a huge group and we were worried that we wouldn't get the personal treatment that you get at smaller office, but I was pleasantly surprised. His doctor is a very nice man in his late 30s. He has a daughter that is exactly 1 year older than Jack, so I think that gives us a leg up on him remembering us even with all of the other people he sees.
Our little man is becoming a bit of a porker! He's an inch longer than he was at birth (20 inches) and 8.6 lbs. WOW! Nearly 3 pounds more! I can't believe how big he is getting! He picks up his head so good, he just can't control putting it back down. He is sleeping on a really nice schedule, so things are great! Yes, there have been those nights with mommy and Jack both crying, but all in all things are great.
